Practical Spinnaker Course Syllabus
Course
is for students who are keen to get more involved with racing, and become part of a racing crew.
If you are going to become part a crew that races on Sydney Harbour or even offshore, you need to know how to handle a spinnaker, and even more importantly; handle all the new terminology that goes with "flying the kite".
On our practical spinnaker course you will learn everything from setting the pole, trimming, gybing, dropping and even packing the spinnaker (always a good skill to have to get you on a crew!).
After you have completed the Practical Spinnaker Course, you are ready to go racing. Why not join us on one of our Sunday Races at Manly Yacht Club to practice your new skills. Get one free Sunday Race with us for every Practical Spinnaker Course booked
