SEA SURVIVAL
The 1998 Sydney To Hobart Yacht Race Coronial Inquest demonstrated that even experienced yachtsmen stand a greater chance of survival when they have training in personal survival techniques. Designed for both racing and cruising sailors who venture offshore in both power and sail driven vessels.

MARINE FIRST AID
What we learn in basic first aid courses is just sufficient to stabilise a patient until the ambulance arrives usually within eleven minutes for capital cities. At sea the minimum response time for a Medivac is three hours (usually longer). Sailors need to know more!!

RADAR
This valuable and versatile tool can mislead those who don’t know how to use its controls or interpret its picture. Get the most out of your set, improve your skills as a crew or learn before you buy.

DIESEL ENGINE MAINTENANCE
Learn how your diesel engine works and what to do when it stops. Designed for the absolute beginner this course is very hands on in our workshop before we go afloat to work on a real diesel engine. Small groups with maximum class size of six.

MARINE RADIO COMMUNICATIONS
You need a marine radio operators certificate to operate VHF (short range) MF/HF (long range) and SATCOM C (satellite communications) radio equipment wherever you go in the world. We can train you in the use of the latest equipment and supervise the ACA exam which will result in the issue of this internationally accredited license.
