The Catalina 34 Licensed to carry 12
passengers during the day. Features include, enclosed cabins fore &
aft, a self furling jib, electric anchor windlass,
an inboard diesel engine, hot & cold pressure water,
refrigerator, 2 burner LPG stove with oven & an
enclosed head. Cockpit cushions, galley equipment,
including, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses &
cooking utensils.
The Catalina 34 reflects the
experience of Catalina owners, who proved the
practicality of the masthead rig with fore and aft
lowers, forestay and backstay. The inboard shroud
base leaves more room for secure footing on the
non-skid deck and provides for narrow sheeting
angles and the ability to carry large genoas. The
rigid boom vang and double ended mainsheet system
make sail handling easier and more secure. The wider
aft cabin has a large berth, upholstered seat and
new bureau.

Events take place from Manly Cove on the northern side of Sydney Harbour offering the ideal location to get away from the office and generate strong team bonds. The Big Blue Yacht Charter offers sailing events for exclusive corporate groups, whether it is a project launch, an executive meeting or protracted negotiations, we offer an event to bond any team and release the tensions of the boardroom.
A corporate sailing event with The Big Blue Yacht Charter is a great way to achieve team development, by bringing teams together, setting up a good communication and competitive spirit amongst groups, all the while having fun and enjoying a day out on wonderful Sydney Harbour.
The perfect getaway from the office where minds are refreshed, relationships are established, new skills are learned and the experience shared.
Our professional skippers will guide and encourage active participation in the sailing of our well appointed yachts.
Perhaps its just a three hour sail to the bridge and back or a series of short fun races over 3 hours, set your own challenge - maybe winner buys the drinks! Tell us your requirements and our team will tailor the day for you or choose from one of our existing packages:
Opt 1: You've just finished a tough conference and your group needs to relax and reflect on the day. Take them out on the harbour for a relaxing sail. This is also the perfect way to entertain your out of town clients. Up to 11 persons per boat, $99 per person. Minium 8persons.
Opt 2: When your team needs to sharpen it's competitive edge or let off steam after a long negotiation and really have some fun, then set them the two boat challenge. Your group will compete in a series of three short races on our two identical yachts. Our skippers are on hand to show everyone what to do so even those who have never sailed before can take part. Up to 11 persons per boat, $110 per person
In addition to the above we can offer other options such as; catering, a venue for your pre or post activity meetings, prizes, prize-giving presentation, or a picnic on a local secluded beach.
