Before we go boating we have to have some understanding about boats, wind and rules of the sea. You can find all the answers in our study section, put together by The Big Blue. We are the only sailing school in Sydney that has provided an easy access to learning material. We have put hundreds of hours into making your "learn to sail" experience much easier.
The Big Blue  sailing school
In 2005 The Big Blue and Penguin Sail merged to form a new entity called The Big Blue Sailing School. Craig Rosevear is the School Director and Principal Instructor, having 30 years of sailing under his belt. After sailing around the world with the Sultan of Malaysia for two years and later with private Yachts. Craig has sailed over 100,000 nautical miles. Craig brings a wealth of sailing experience to The Big Blue Sailing School and all it's students.

We take pleasure in our courses and specialize in Introduction to Sailing, Competent Crew and Inshore courses.
